As much as we poke fun at Hugo Chavez, it appears he is doing some really good things.

“The problem of the burka is not a religious problem. This is an issue of a woman’s freedom and dignity. This is not a religious symbol. It is a sign of subservience; it is a sign of lowering. I want to say solemnly, the burka is not welcome in France,” Sarkozy told lawmakers.

The French Parliament has appointed a panel to study banning the burka.

In 2004, the French parliament passed legislation banning Muslim girls from wearing headscarves in state schools, prompting widespread Muslim protests. The law also banned other conspicuous religious symbols including Sikh turbans, large Christian crucifixes and Jewish skull caps.

Last year, France’s top court denied a Moroccan woman’s naturalization request on the grounds that she wore a burka.

Some lawmakers have called for burkas to be banned completely, claiming they are degrading to women. They also include housing minister Fadela Amara, a Muslim-born women’s rights campaigner, who has called the garment “a kind of tomb for women.”

“We cannot accept in our country women trapped behind a fence, cut off from social life, deprived of any identity. This is not the idea that we have of a woman’s dignity,” Sarkozy said Monday.

Frank Lynch hereby calls upon President Barack Obama to make it illegal to wear burkas in America.

We must immediately stop issuing drivers licenses, passports, immigration papers of any sort, or any government identification or registration instruments to any person who even partially covers their face.

Further, under the hate crime laws, it should be a felony punishable by five years imprisonment at hard labor to refuse to shake hands because a person is a woman.

It is time for our government to stop all this ridiculous political correctness of not wanting to offend muslims. We must grow a spine and stand up to extremists. All people are equal, and we cannot and must not tolerate any practices that demean women in any way.

I am disappointed in our President that European countries are taking action to recognize the sanctity of womanhood before our own President does.

President Obama, please exercise leadership in banning the burka, banning the refusal to shake hands with women, and all other extremist traditions that demean women.

Further, all non-profits must be required to ban burkas from their officers, employees, Boards of Directors or Trustees.

Eveery educational institution, from preschool through graduate school, must ban burkas from their premises.

President Nicolas Sarkozydeclared Monday that the Islamic burqa is not welcome in France, branding the face-covering, body-length gown as a symbol of subservience that suppresses women’s identities and turns them into “prisoners behind a screen.”

But there was a mixed message in the tough words: an admission that the country’s long-held principle of ethnic assimilation — which insists that newcomers shed their traditions and adapt to French culture — is failing because it doesn’t give immigrants and their French-born children a fair chance.

In a high-profile speech to lawmakers in the historic chateau at Versailles, Sarkozy said the head-to-toe Muslim body coverings were in disaccord with French values — some of the strongest language against burqas from a European leader at a time when some Western officials have been seeking to ease tensions with the Muslim world.

“In our country, we cannot accept that women be prisoners behind a screen, cut off from all social life, deprived of all identity,” Sarkozy said to extended applause of the lawmakers gathered where French kings once held court.

“The burqa is not a religious sign, it’s a sign of subservience, a sign of debasement — I want to say it solemnly,” he said. “It will not be welcome on the territory of the French Republic.”

The Netherlands is about to ban burkas. The country’s hardline Integration Minister, Rita Verdonk, known as the Iron Lady for her series of tough anti-immigration measures, told Parliament that she was going to investigate where and when the burka should be banned. The burka, traditional clothing in some Islamic societies, covers a woman’s face and body, leaving only a strip of gauze for the eyes.

Mrs Verdonk gave warning that the “time of cosy tea-drinking” with Muslim groups had passed and that natives and immigrants should have the courage to be critical of each other.

She recently cancelled a meeting with Muslim leaders who refused to shake her hand because she was a woman. Great lady!

Although Netherlands has the same inane freedom of expression laws passed in America, she plans to make it a matter of public safety.

Our government just announced that our military in Afghanistan will not fight near houses, even if Taliban are hiding in the houses.

This strategy is exactly how we lost all our wars since WWII.

In Korea, Vietnam and Iraq we announced where we would not fight. In Korea Dem Pres. Truman fired Gen. McArthur for wanting to pursue ChiCom jets and troops into their bases in China and we lost.

In Vietnam we announced we would not pursue the enemy into Cambodia, Laos or Communist China, so the enemy used all those areas as bases to defeat us.

In Iraq we refuse to go after the Iranian units and bases that supply the weapons and IEDs used to kill thousands of our troops. So Iran trains fighters on how to kill our troops, and more of our best died from Iranian weapons and training than died in the Twin Towers.

Now in Afghanistan Obama says the enemy can use homes as safe bases to kill our boys.

Wars are horrible and should be avoided.

But once you are in one, either win or get out.

The only way to win any war is by massive destruction so that resistance is impossible. Germany was totally destroyed.

In Iraq and Afghanistan we publicly announce how we can be defeated.

Democracy is dead. If elections changed anything, they would make them illegal.

All four Iranian candidates are identical, and all the fighting is not about democracy, but about which thug wins the chair that has all the corrupt money attached.

In America McCain, Hillary and the Messiah all ran on the same platform, and the election was decided by racism action.

Yesterday the government repurchased billions in government securities.

Now the government is about to sell billions of government securities.

If a corporation did this it would be called market manipulation and people would go to jail and lose their financial lives.

If Geithner and Obama do it, then it is called financial genius.

I call it insanity. America is doomed.

Change you can believe in.

A young terrorist from Saudi Arabia named Mohammad Atta blew up a bus in Israel in 1986.

The Israelis, who could teach us a thing or two about tracking down terrorists, captured, tried and imprisoned him.  As part of the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians in 1993, Israel had to agree to release so-called ‘political prisoners.’

‘Political prisoners’ is the politically correct term used by liberal progressive Democrats  to describe Fundamentalist Islamic terrorists who got caught.

However, the Israelis would not release any prisoners with blood on their hands.

 The American President at the time, Bill Clinton, and his Secretary of State, Warren Christopher, ‘insisted’ that all prisoners be released. 

Thus Mohammad Atta gained his freedom after murdering innocent civilians. Mohammad eventually thanked us by flying an airplane into Tower One of the World Trade Center.

All of this was reported by many of the American TV networks at the time that the terrorists were first identified. 

As a proof of media bias in America, within a day it was censored in the US from all later reports. 

The proof? You have never heard or read this before, have you?

Not even you college undergrads or post-graduate students in poly sci or foreign affairs?

Today, Barack Obama, the liberal progressive Democrats, and the media celebrate that America is about to release “political prisoners” from Guantanamo.

Simultaneously, President-Elect Barack Obama is appointing Hillary Clinton to head the State Department. Mrs. Clinton and Bill Clinton will represent America’s interest in foreign affairs. The same Clintons whose pressure gave freedom to Mohammad Atta, and whose State Department gave Mohammad Atta a visa to enter the United States after he had been convicted of terrorism in Israel.

Change You Can Believe In.

The only question is how much we will pay in reparations to the family of Mohammad Atta because we put the World Trade Center Towers in front of his plane, the poor abused boy.

When Obama wants to talk with “moderate” terrorists, perhaps he should start by inviting the man whose Presidential campaign Obama supported in Kenya, his cousin Odinga?

Do not forget Obama helped his cousin Odinga in his run for President  of Kenya to the point where the Kenyan government filed an official protest with the State Department about US Senators interfering in Kenyan internal politics.

 When Odinga lost the election despite Obama’s support, his group kept burning Christians alive in churches with no adverse comment from cousin Obama.

The Kenyans finally appointed Odinga Premier without an election while there were still some Christian churches left.

Now Odinga is writing a new constitution for Kenya that will make Islam the official religion and replace civil courts with Imam-run Sharia courts. Gotta get rid of those pig farms that supply half the protein to Kenya. Let the poor people  eat cake.

The world has been having a problem with those well mannered Muslim pirates from Somalia. Does anyone notice that Kenya shares a border with Somalia? Nothing like having more Muslim extremist states forming a new chain of terrorism down through Africa.

No comment from cousin Obama, except we should talk with moderate Taliban

Obama considers his cousin Odinga to be moderate because he hasn’t burned any Chrisitans alive for several months.

If Odinga wants to turn Kenya into an extremist Muslim country without an election, oops, not right, make that “change Kenya into a Muslim nation EVEN THOUGH HE LOST THE ELECTION,” that is OK with cousin Obama.

Hey, doesn’t burning Christian alive inside churches seem a tiny itsy bitsy bit similar to that word Obama refuses to use because it is inflammatory? What is that word? Oh, I got it!

TERRORISM

Hmm, Obama refused to speak out when his cousin used “Terrorism” to change a model British colony into an extremist Muslim state, and Obama now wants to talk with “moderate” TERRORISTS (because TERRORISTS  are what the Taliban is).

Hey Pres, instead of going to Afghanistan, just hop down to Guantanamo where there are a bunch of “moderate” terrorists that you campaigned on releasing?

Why won’t the American people listen to the words of leaders and compare them to their actions?

President Obama, you really have to talk to the American people and to the international community on this subject, please.

University of Miami microbiologist Dr. Lisa Plano recently analyzed water dripping off swimmers on South Florida beaches.

Dr. Plano found staph bacteria on 37 percent of swimmers.

Even worse, three percent had drug-resistant MRSA infections.

Ever since I first flew from New York to Florida in 1972, for more than a third of a century, when the plane over the blue ocean approached the Florida coast, the water turned brown, the exact shade of what the Florida cities dumped untreated in the beaches.

Over the ensuing thirty years the newspapers claim that every town now treats its sewerage completely.

Liars! The water near the shore gets browner and browner every year.

And our newcomers get dirtier and dirtier.

Everyone please take a shower with soap and water before swimming in the ocean so you do not transfer infections to our water.

To save your own health, take a soap shower after swimming to remove much of your newly acquired Florida staph infection from your skin.

As for me? I cannot figure out how to wade through all the illegals washing ashore to get my body to the water. I prefer to get my exercise at the gym.

Perhaps Obama might think to add reclaiming the oceans to his ever growing list of trillions to evaporate.

When I first posted my Presidential campaign website on July 20, 2007, Obama’s website contained only two ideas buried among thousands of words:  get out of Iraq in 90 days (gee, did he forget that?) and “Change” which he defined as Jimmy Carter’s ramblings from Carters 1976 campaign, but omitting Carter’s energy plan. Obama had no energy plan, jobs plan, or universal healthcare.

I ran for President, knowing the Democratic party machine would never let me on enough ballots to win, and posted http://www.franklynch.org because none of the Presidential candidates of either Party had any of the ideas that I considered most important at July 20, 2007, so I put all the missing ideas onto my website in the hope that politicians being, in their better days, plagiaristic copycats, would adopt my ideas.

I was so successful in that endeavor that most new readers have trouble believing that everything (except Kucinich had the same healthcare) on that campaign website was not in the speeches or websites of any other candidate, and today, more than half of what I posted now constitutes the core issues of President Obama.

Obama even stole my use of the word “Bold” to the extent that Obama’s speechwriters now use “bold” to describe him taking a leak.

MY TERRIBLE DISAPPOINTMENT AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, DISILLUSIONMENT, is that Obama merely uses the superficial headlines, not the true heart of the issues that I introduced to the Presidential campaign.

For example, when he copied Universal Healthcare, instead of making it single payer like Michael Moore, Kucinich, Opray Winfrey and I wanted, Obama sold out to the health insurance companies, thereby adding hundreds of billions to the cost and reducing coverage, but increasing the donations to his campaigns by the insurance industry.

Use any stock market chart covering ten years. Observe that when the national public opinion polls in May 2007 showed that Obama would be the next President the market started down from 13,000 to almost half that level today.

In contrast, during Bush’s Presidency the market went up almost thirty percent.

So who is the better President?

Bush up 30 percent over eight years

Obama down 50 percent in nine months?

Duh?

Only Nadya Souleman messed up worse in nine months!
