Because of the astounding incompetence of NOAA (the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Agency) the simple measurements of temperature around the world may be so fouled up that we cannot have an intelligent discussion f global warming.
In the absence of reliable scientific data, why on earth would President Obama want to disrupt our economy and the world economy with a hopelessly complex, Rube Goldberg cap and trade system, while exempting India, China and Brazil, which emits millions and millions of tons of greenhouse gases every year.
There are two excellent, rigorously scientific websites that report hard, reliable science in terms that any high school student should be able to understand. Apparantly our resident and Congress do not measure up to the standard of a high school student.
Hence these people consider such absurdities as a cow fart tax. Perhaps the problem is they inhale cow farts?
